Welcome to our blog! We're two girls (Nooreen and Nadyah) who believe that fashion and 'image' doesn't have to reflect what you see on the TV and magazines, but also that style can coincide with modesty. Have a read through our blogs and you'll find our ideas on different outfits, our favourite products in the market as well as our views on what's going on in the world - whether it's related to fashion or further afield.
Below is a disclaimer and statement of our intention and purpose so as to not mislead or offend anybody:
1) This blog is a focus on modest dress and we do not claim to be following everybody's definition of Islamic dress. Everybody is entitled to form their own judgement on what that is, and that is between them and God.

1) This blog is a focus on modest dress and we do not claim to be following everybody's definition of Islamic dress. Everybody is entitled to form their own judgement on what that is, and that is between them and God.
2) We are showcasing what we wear. We are offering some ideas and inspiration for girls who may already wear or want to consider modest dress, whether it’s part of their journey to dress more 'islamically' or just more modestly in general.
3) We are not promoting that girls become fashion slaves - the name of the blog is deliberately tongue in cheek. We are pointing out that there is an alternative to the lifestyle and image of fashion and beauty that the media and many TV shows today portray. We are aware there are more important things in the world, this is just one aspect that we are interested in and personally believe can co-exist with our faith. Our blog is primarily about staying stylish in a more modest way than mainstream media represents, but also discusses other issues that are important and relevant in society.
This is all part of our journey as well, and may Allah guide us. If there any questions, please email us..
